SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) is the entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to its 5-year integrated law programs at Symbiosis Law Schools across India.

What is the SLAT exam pattern?+
Computer-based test of 60 minutes with 60 questions — 12 each from Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension and General Knowledge. 1 mark per question. No negative marking.
Can I attempt SLAT twice?+
Yes. Symbiosis usually conducts two SLAT tests in an admission cycle. Candidates can appear for both, and the better score is considered.
What is the selection process after SLAT?+
Shortlisted candidates are called for a Personal Interaction (PI) round. Final admission is based on SLAT score + PI performance + Class 12 marks.
What is a good score in SLAT?+
Indicative ranges: 45+ excellent, 40–45 very competitive, 35–40 good chances at multiple campuses. Cut-offs vary every year and by campus.
Does CLAT preparation help in SLAT?+
Yes — about 80–90% syllabus overlap. Students mainly need extra speed practice and SLAT-pattern mock tests.
